Morning Session One: “Interoperability of Analog/Full-Custom Flows” features the latest IPL updates that address broad interoperability issues in analog and full-custom design flows and foundry process design kits (PDKs). SixSeven IPL member companies will demonstrate products interoperating using the proof of concept IPL and OpenAccess Analog Symbol Library in real time. After the session, attendees are invited to join representatives from the IPL member companies for a continued technical discussion over lunch.

The IPL Alliance is chartered to create, promote and distribute interoperable PCell libraries (IPLs) on the OpenAccess database. To demonstrate the benefits of an IPL, the Alliance has already released an open-source proof-of-concept library. An IPL provides many benefits to semiconductor companies, foundries and EDA vendors including reduced PCell development and support costs, enabling foundries and semiconductor companies to support many EDA tools with a single IPL and increased layout tool interoperability.

The afternoon session will be filled with presentations on open analog standards. Included will be a panel discussion with leading IPL members and companies involved in interoperable PCells.
